Dane County Farmers' Market is America's largest producer-only farmers' market.[1] It is held every Saturday morning from 6am to 2pm in Madison, Wisconsin at the Wisconsin State Capitol square from April until November. It is held indoors at the Monona Terrace from November until December, and at the Madison Senior Center from January until March. During the summer months the market consists of approximately 300 vendors and completely encircles the Capitol Building.[2]

The farmers' market was founded in 1972 by Madison mayor Bill Dyke seeking to unite Dane county's urban and rural cultures. It is currently managed by the Dane County Farmers' Market, Inc. co-op.[3]
