Ella in Berlin is a 1960 (see 1960 in music) album by the American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. In this 1960 performance in Berlin, Ella improvised the lyrics for this song, "Mack the knife" successfully, after forgetting them. In recognition for this, and her superlative performance, she received the Grammy for the Best Female Jazz Vocal performance that Year.

During her Scat solo on "How High the Moon", Ella quotes the Charlie Parker tune "Ornithology", which is in turn based on the chord changes for "How High the Moon" as a springboard for her own improvisation.
