Holy Rosary Academy, Anchorage, Alaska, is a Catholic independent school for grades K-12. The Academy was founded in 1987 by a group of Catholic parents in Anchorage who desired a school where a sound education in the Catholic faith would be an essential part of their children’s academic progress. It has grown from a student body of eighteen students to more than 150 in grades K-12. It has been recognized for two years running as one of the top 50 Catholic high schools in the country (Catholic High School Honor Roll, 2004, 2005).
