John William Sheldrick (born 1939), is a male former athlete who competed for England.
Athletics career
[edit]He represented England and won a bronze medal in the discus at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth, Western Australia.[1][2]
He was a member of the Thames Valley Club.
Personal life
[edit]During the Games he met his future wife Prue O'Connor and stayed in Australia, therefore officially emigrating.[3] Together they had five sons.
