Saagar Enjeti (born April 21, 1992) is a journalist, podcast host, and political commentator currently hosting the American political news and opinion series Breaking Points.

Early life and education

Enjeti born on April 21, 1992[2], and was raised in College Station, Texas. His parents are Prasad Enjeti and Radhika Viruru, both professors at Texas A&M University.[3] He graduated from George Washington University in 2014 where he majored in economics[4]. In 2018, he received a masters in security policy from Georgetown University.[5]

Career

Enjeti served as a media fellow for the Hudson Institute, specializing in government and politics, international relations, and technology & Applied Sciences.[6] He co-hosted the podcast The Realignment with Marshall Kosloff.[7] He currently serves as a Tony Blankley fellow at the Steamboat Institute.[8]

Enjeti is a former reporter and White House Correspondent for The Daily Caller.[9][10][11]

He co-hosted Rising with Krystal Ball and wrote for The Hill.[12]

In 2021, Enjeti and Ball left Rising to start their own show called Breaking Points.[13] That show became the number one political podcast one week after launching[14] and reached one million subscribers on YouTube in 2023.
