Morgan Rice is an American author of fantasy and science fiction novels,[1] with her books making the New York Times, USA Today, Apple Books, and other bestseller lists. Her first novel A Quest of Heroes was self-published in 2013 and was the first of 17 books in her epic fantasy series The Sorcerer's Ring.

Rica is an American author of fantasy and sci-fi novels.[2] She self-publishes her works, and In 2011 stated she had no interest in pursuing traditional publishing for her young adult novels.[3]

In 2013, the first three books of her Sorcerer's Ring series were among the best-selling books on Amazon.com:[4] A Quest of Heroes ranked 11th, A March of Kings rank 14th, and A Feast of Dragons (actually A Fate of Dragons) 27th in the kids/teens/young-adults category.[5][6]

In 2015, A Quest of Heroes was included in the Fierce box set of high fantasy reads.[7]

In February 2016, four of her books were among the top 20 highest-selling American iBooks in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy categories.[8] In April, Rise of the Valiant rose to sixth-highest[9] and dropped to the 20th-highest in May.[10]
