Josh Habka is a student attending Florida Institute of Technology and will entering as a junior to achieve a PhD in Astronomy and Major in Aerospace Engineering. Mr. Habka is currently enrolled in Jefferson Community and Technical College[2] as a sophomore alongside Bullitt East High School as a senior.[3] Mr. Habka is currently working alongside GE(General Electric) to develop a water fountain seeking to innovate upon standard fountains with a mechanism that allows easy raising/lowering of the fountain. According to the director of engineering at Bullitt East, James Lewis, "His goal is to provide accessibility to clean drinking water to people in mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers. Additionally, he strives to improve convenience for children and elders in the community who may have a difficult time accessing traditional water fountains."

Josh Habka has also written a few research papers in Google Scholar and KCTCS. Most notable essay includes "Jurisdiction of The Cosmos", which discusses the future legality of humanity spreading out to the cosmos and how humanity will and should use celestial resources.[4]

Mr. Habka and his teammates are currently working on a project backed by General Electric to implement a height-adjustable water fountain system in the local parks and complexs of Mount Washington, KY. On December 13 2021, Mr. Habka and his teammates presented their proposal to the Mount Washington city Council during a city council meeting. The team received a "thumbs up from all of the city Council members" allowing them to proceed further. [5]

Josh Habka plans to host a Ted talk regarding the jurisdiction of space around mid summer 2022.
