{{Unreferenced section|date=February 2016}} |
Spring time climate is variable, with comparably high and low temperatures, with a considerable amount of rain and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms have, in the past, caused rolling blackouts and loss of reception. Most citizens find it in their best interest to acquire a generator. |
The summer time is very hot, reaching the low 100s. There is still a lot of wind and clouds, however, so it is not good weather to swim in. The most common sources of home cooling are evaporative coolers. |
Fall is a cold time of year, with showers beginning around this time. The temperature variation ends, and maintains a relatively constant average in the 60s. |
Winter is an extremely cold time of year, getting into the low negatives, often accompanied by 1–2 feet of snow. Although they keep the roads plowed, ice is still a serious danger on the roads in and out of Crescent Valley. |
