Weston was drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round (248th overall) of the 2010 NFL draft.[1] He signed a four-year contract on July 21, 2010.[2] He was waived/injured on August 23, 2010. He cleared waivers the next day and reverted to the team's injured reserve list.

On August 29, 2011, he was waived by the Patriots.
