:The consoles AtGames made in partnership with Sega, not counting the HDMI Flashback models, were horrible anyway, most particularly because of the bad audio emulation on them. Two other reasons they were horrible are 1. nearly all pre-2017 models only output the audio in mono, and not the two-channel stereo; only the Reactor console (initially known as the Sega Zone) and the 2016 models have stereo audio, and 2. the games built in to the consoles that are labeled “Bonus Games” are clearly just plain ol’ generic homebrews produced by AtGames themselves, DevWorks Game Technology, Tectoy (Sega’s South American distributor), Zone (games released on the Reactor console) and Microlab (which sounds to me like a rip-off of Microsoft), and not to mention the Microlab games were renamed horrendously — for a few instances, Sky Up was renamed to Jack’s Pea even though the game just features a creepy baby gorilla trying to jump on tiny grass, Push Ball was renamed to Curling 2010, even though that game is more like a dodgeball game, and Pipe Worker was renamed to Plumbing Contest, even though it is single player as opposed to a competition game. AtGames is one of those Tiwanese companies that churns out a lot of products, and it can be extremely confusing telling them apart and cataloging them all.
Even though they've made several good products in the past, and still do, a lot of people see it as being of poor quality and having a lot of problems, recently their Blast! series is under fire due to review copies being arcade versions when the retail product was NES versions of those games. They also seem to have been kicked out of the Mega Drive Mini project by Sega.
A lot of events and products and there's just nothing written down.
They've become a prominent name in video gaming, for good or bad, so I feel completing this article a bit more would benefit a lot.Talkkaris (talk) 10:11, 24 October 2018 (UTC) 36.231.55.132 (talk) 07:27, 31 May 2019 (UTC) Would be happy to connect and establish an in-depth entry. Please contact me pkh@atgames.net.
I agree.
[edit]I think that more needs to be mentioned on this page, I helped by providing an extra source that shows they DO make Atari Flashbacks, and I added a section mentioning the "Flashback BLAST!" HDMI Dongle consoles, with a link to prove correct information.
If a page exists for the Sega Genesis Mini/Mega Drive Mini, then there should be links conjoining the 2, mentioning that AtGames got fired from the project, on both pages! I'll help in any way I can! :) CreeperDudeBro (talk) 12:53, 29 November 2018 (PST)
36.231.55.132 (talk) 07:21, 31 May 2019 (UTC) May I help? I am the CEO and founder of AtGames (pkh@atgames.net https://www.linkedin.com/in/ping-kang-hsiung-2a2093b/). We were not fired from Sega Mini project that's sensational hearsay and not fact. Best practice will be to independently seek confirmation from involved companies.
AtGames
[edit]I don't know if you know, but AtGames is no longer with Sega anymore as of 2019. Hope you understand the changes I have made on this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DarkMatterMan4500 (talk • contribs) 21:05, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
