The '''Tour of the Bahamas''' is a [[road cycling race]] held in Nassau, the capital of the [[Bahamas]]. The race is a competition over three stages within two days. On the first day there is a time trial, a race against the clock, along with a circuit race, where one lap is more than a mile, is held in the afternoon. Then the next day is the road race, held on some of the same roads as the circuit. In every race you are timed and that is what determines you over-all place. |

The Tour of the Bahamas is a road cycling race held in Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas.[1] The Tour is a competition over three stages. On the first stage there is an individual time trial, a race against the clock, followed by a circuit race, the next day. Finally, a road race is held, this stage is the only stage that leaves Nassau City.[2] Due to the Bahamas's warm climate, the race is used by many cyclists to kick off their racing seasons.[3]
