License tagging for File:Abu Ishaque photograph.jpg
Thanks for uploading :File:Abu Ishaque photograph.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Hi,
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation.<!-- User:OrphanBot/untagged-new --> --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:05, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

I see you are a member of the Wikipedia Social and Political Philosophy task force. I wonder if you might be willing to help me with an independent review of a substantial redraft of the article How (philosophy) I proposed at: Talk:How_(book)#Request_for_review_of_Redraft . In addition to the social and political philosophical space, it also is about organizational philosophy. While I am an experienced Wikipedia editor and have written about two dozen articles,I have a COI as a paid consultant to the author of the primary book on the subject.
Thank you
If you're able to spend the time to do an independent review, I'd be very appreciative and respond to any requests for additional work on the draft.
Thank you for creating the article! I found the article in the category of articles needing copyedit, so took a try at it. I see you have created a lot of articles related to Bengali literature and culture. Thanks a lot for that.--Dwaipayan (talk) 22:46, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

This is a global online edit-a-thon, which is happening in at least 5 language editions of Wikipedia, including the English Wikipedia! Join us in this exciting venture, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section, if you haven't done so already.
I realize that there are possible copyright issues when employing images for Wikipedia. Are both of these images applicable to the page for Ms.Jamison's book, or are they off-limits? If so, what are some indicators that they are copyrighted, and therefore unusable?

On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing Users who are able to achieve the following:

You're invited to join WikiProject Women writers!
After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

Help with article review?

[edit]

Hi,

I see you are a member of the Wikipedia Social and Political Philosophy task force. I wonder if you might be willing to help me with an independent review of a substantial redraft of the article How (philosophy) I proposed at: Talk:How_(book)#Request_for_review_of_Redraft . In addition to the social and political philosophical space, it also is about organizational philosophy. While I am an experienced Wikipedia editor and have written about two dozen articles,I have a COI as a paid consultant to the author of the primary book on the subject.

If you're able to spend the time to do an independent review, I'd be very appreciative and respond to any requests for additional work on the draft.

Many thanks,

Ed BC1278 (talk) 20:26, 11 May 2018 (UTC)BC1278[reply]

Notice

The article Patrick Gaffney (anthropologist) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --- St.teresa (talk)
