The Margraviate of Brandenburg is ruled by the House of Hohenzollern. It isn't until 1657, with the Treaty of Wehlau, and 1660, with the Treaty of Oliva, that the Duchy of Prussia is acquired by the House of Hohenzollern, and the state becomes known as Brandenburg-Prussia.
