They don't consider themselves as Assamese or a community under the umbrella term of Assamese. I have changed, and rephrase it to high caste brahminized community because the Barman's were Hinduised, sanskritised, and brahminized in history of Dimasa Kachari Kingdom. I have removed those places names where Barman Kacharis aren't situated.
