IUPAC edits
editWhen you use "(IUPAC)" with its spelled out name, be sure to use a space between so it looks like:

- But why are you doing it at all? I think don't bother unless there's some reason in a given article, for example, if the acronym is later used. See WP:ACROCLUTTER for an essay on helping to keep articles focused on their own topics for our readers. DMacks (talk) 12:46, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

Continued unnecessary addition of acronyms
editPlease stop unnecessarily adding acronyms to articles, as was mentioned above. (I found your addition to Science here, but you just made a similar addition to a hundred articles today.) Unless the institution is primarily known by the acronym (e.g. NASA, CSIRO, UNESCO – where the title of the article is the acronym), there is no reason for the acronym to be present in an unrelated article when it is not utilized. If the acronym is used later, it should definitely be mentioned following the full name. See the Manual of Style's guidelines on acronym use at MOS:ACRO. Disambiguation link notification for December 14
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Technologist (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
