* the Order of the Elephant, which may have been first founded by Christian I of Denmark, but was founded in its current form by King Christian V in 1693. The order was however formed around 1460. The knight of the elephant is one of two Danish knighthoods awarded by the monarc.Very few commoners wear it, but Mærsk, A.P. Møller and Niels Bohr did. There is another Danish knighthood order awarded to commoners regulary. There is a fixed number of knight, so noone can come in before someone dies or someone is stripped of their title. (Which happens).

You can also become a knight of Sweden and of Norway. I am not aware of the details. Too little homework was put into this when it could be missed that knight of both Sweden and Norway is missed.
