Akiha Tohno (遠野 秋葉, Tōno Akiha) is a character from the Japanese visual novel and anime series Tsukihime by TYPE-MOON.
16 years old at the beginning of the story, Akiha is the head of the prestigious Tohno family and a student of the elite Asagami Private Girls Academy.
Her birthday is 22 September, while her blood type is A, height is 160cm, weight is 45kg, and measurements are B73/W57/H79.
In the anime series, Akiha is voiced by Shizuka Itō while in Melty Blood, she is voiced by Hitomi. Template:Spoiler
Biography
Born into the prestigious Tohno family under the strict supervision of her father, Makihisa, Akiha lived a sheltered childhood, seldom allowed to leave the household for play. One day, however, while she was quietly waiting for her tutor to arrive, a young boy, Shiki, held her hand and helped her experience the joys of childhood. However, due to a near-fatal wound Shiki later suffers, they are separated eight years before the beginning of the story.
Upon the death of her father, Makihisa, Akiha later becomes the head of the Tohno household and calls back Shiki, her brother, who is most precious to her, to the Tohno mansion, and they reunite.
Akiha is very protective of her brother, she is intent on knowing what he does with his day, and is extremely suspicious of what he does at night.
Like all of the Tohno family, Akiha has an abnormal condition in which her body uses more heat than usual. As such, she must absorb heat off of others (as seen when she sucks Kohaku's blood). When she becomes excited her hair also returns to a vibrant, red color (her hair's true shade). This is shown in her scenario in the game.
