This list of Olympic medalists for the Philippines collects in one location all the names of medalists who participated in the Olympics on behalf of the Philippines.

History

Teófilo Yldefonso the only athlete to win more than one Olympic medal for the Philippines to date.

The Philippines began participating at the Olympic Games in the 1924 Summer Olympics held at Paris, with David Nepomuceno as the sole participant. At the 1928 Summer Olympics at Amsterdam, the Commonwealth won its first medal when swimmer Teófilo Yldefonso finished third at the 200 meter breaststroke event. The 1932 Summer Olympics at Los Angeles was the most fruitful for the Filipinos, when they were awarded with three bronze medals. It was even said that Los Angeles' weather helped the athletes, as it was comparatively as same with that of the Philippines. The Philippines would win another bronze medal at the 1936 Summer Olympics at Berlin.

After independence from the United States, the country did not win another medal until the Tokyo 1964 Summer Olympics, where boxer Anthony Villanueva was beaten at the gold medal bout. His father, José, was one of the bronze medalists in 1932.

Boxing would later bring all of the remaining medals of the country, with Leopoldo Serrantes winning bronze at the Seoul 1988 Summer Olympics. Another boxer won a bronze medal 4 years later in Barcelona courtesy of Roel Velasco while his brother Mansueto was beaten at the gold medal bout to claim silver at the 1996 Summer Olympics at Atlanta.

There would be another medal drought; it was broken after 20 years (equivalent to 5 Summer Olympics) in the 2016 Summer Olympics when Hidilyn Diaz won silver at women's 53 kg weightlifting, at Rio de Janeiro. ` Among demonstration sports, the country won one gold and two bronze medals; this doesn't include the Wushu Tournament Beijing 2008 wherein the country won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals, for this was not an official Olympic demonstration sport. In the Summer Youth Olympics, Luis Gabriel Moreno along with China's Li Jiaman won a gold medal at the mixed team event in Nanjing 2014. This is the first gold Olympic medal by a Filipino athlete in a non-demonstration sport though the medal is credited to the Mixed-NOCs team rather than the Philippines or China.
