Proposed deletion of List of years in ice sports
The article List of years in ice sports has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced and arbitrary list, fails WP:V. If referenced it could be included as an annex of Winter sports
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 22:55, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- You should not propose deletion of articles which are new and still being developed. I reset your changes. Bandy Hoppsan (talk) 08:35, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
Nomination of Adam Gilljam for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Adam Gilljam is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Gilljam until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 05:53, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
The article Albert Pomortsev has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of SBK Skiold
Hello Bandy Hoppsan,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged SBK Skiold for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:2017 in cycle sport
A tag has been placed on Category:2017 in cycle sport requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, Bandy Hoppsan. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Grigory Granaturov, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hello, I'm Montanabw. I noticed that you made a comment on my talk page regarding my AfD nomination of Grigory Granaturov that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please refrain from attacking other editors. Competitive gaming
Bandy Hoppsan Regarding your edit summary What consensus? Read the talk page.
on Competitive gaming: I have read the talk page, and the entire history of the article. There was a discussion that resulted in keeping the redirect to Electronic sports, now itself redirected to eSports. You may very well be right that eSports and competitive gaming are not exactly equivalent, and possibly deserve their own article, but until you provide a reliable source that say so, we cannot accept your submission. See WP:REFBEGIN for instructions. You also need to be aware of the 3 revert rule, WP:3RR. Take care, Mduvekot (talk) 22:19, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- Why do you write this here, and not on the talk page? Why don't you read the deletion discussion, where more than one person clearly says it is not only e-sport which is competitive gaming? I am aware of the three revert rule, I have reverted only twice, as you know if you look at the history of the page. Bandy Hoppsan (talk) 22:51, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Grigory Granaturov.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. There are options if you believe the discussion was improperly closed (not so much for you just not liking the outcome). Exercise them, but these revertions of yours are vandalism. Ravenswing 23:23, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
