Podhu Nalan Karudhi is an upcoming movie directed by debutant Zion with Karunakaran, Santhosh Prathap and Adith playing the lead roles. Anu Sithara of Happy Wedding fame is playing the female lead. Yog Japee, Imman Annachi, editor Praveen KL, cinematographer Swaminathan, costume designer Vasuki Bhaskar are part of the team.
The shooting of commenced on 25th July 2016 and the entire film would be completed in a single schedule that goes for 50 days straight.
The story is based on three youngsters belonging to different social classes, coming to Chennai to make a living. Whether they succeed in their lives or not, forms the crux of the story. The film will focus on the mentality of youngsters.
