The Selection is an American romance television drama by CW Television Network.[1] The series is directed by Mark Piznarski and starred by Aimee Teegarden, Leonor Varela and William Moseley.[2][3]

The Selection film is an adaptation of the book series by Kiera Cass and written original pilots by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain.[4]
The production was announced to be premiered in mid-season on US Television.[5] It was originally blueprinted on fall which is that the making have minor delays due to its appealing on controversies of an analogous genre and lay-out of the story.[6] However, the film was thought is developed as a remake of Hunger Games movie wherein also compared to the cult Japanese film, Battle Royale.[7]
