A few minor points

Hi Bigdon128. Thanks for your contributions. A few minor points to note:

  • In a Formula One context, "Ferrari" should be linked to Scuderia Ferrari rather than Ferrari, i.e. the links should be written as Ferrari.
  • The past tense of "lead" is "led", e.g. to say "Red Bull were leading the Championship", it's "Red Bull led the Championship"
  • It's "McLaren and Ferrari were second and third in the Championship respectively", not "respectfully".
  • But apart from that, keep up the good work. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 22:38, 28 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

F1 results table updates

Hi Bigdon128. When updating F1 results tables after a race, please remember to also update the points total (and championship position if necessary). Thanks. DH85868993 (talk) 13:11, 10 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

1967 German Grand Prix

You do know that Denny Hulme and Chris Amon are not Australians? Please do not make stuff up, be sure of what you are adding to a story prior to adding. --Falcadore (talk) 02:26, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re:Infobox problem

Hi Bigdon. User:DH85868993 has already fixed the problem, which was that you had missed out an end square bracket from one of the wikilinks within the infobox. Infoboxes are often fiddly and complex things to edit, so an easy mistake to make!--Midgrid(talk) 14:45, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Top notch!

Many thanks for reverting that vandalism on my userpage; two minutes...someone must have their finger on their pulse! ;) On an aside, apologies if I had been a bit clinical on any of your additions to the relevant Grand Prix articles; we were all newcomers to the website at one point, and I may have been a bit critical of some of the additions. The edits are getting to a high standard now! But yeah, thanks! Craig(talk) 01:02, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I think the bot just missed you out...to say we've not had that problem before would be lying; the bots are a bit "on the back-burner" when it comes to delivery. Craig(talk) 01:16, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

2011 Korean Grand Prix (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
was linked to Mercedes

Any suggestions for improving this automated tool are welcome. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 18:37, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, probably meant to link to Mercedes GP. Bigdon128 (talk) 23:56, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Drivers' names

Hi Bigdon128. Thanks for your contributions. However, can you please use the correct accents when writing "Räikkönen" and "Häkkinen"? It saves someone else having to go along and fix them up afterwards. Also, please note that "Barrichello" has two 'r's. Thanks. DH85868993 (talk) 02:51, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah that's fine, I'll sort that out next time. Bigdon128 (talk) 19:45, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. In Literary technique, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Juxtaposition (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Re:Japan '11

As much as I would like to, I've got a busy week ahead and simply don't have the time to improve that particular article. Apologies. Craig(talk) 02:58, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hispania F110

Hi there Bigdon. I intend to review Hispania F110, but was wondering if you could first address the comments left by User:4u1e here? At a glance the prose and sourcing appear to be of Good Article quality, but unfortunately I agree that the article needs to go into more detail on the technical side, per criteria 3a. —WFC18:57, 7 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Debut/début

Hi Bigdon128. FYI, "debut" can be spelled either with or without the accent, so it's probably not worth updating an article just to make that change. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 02:18, 13 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

2012 Canadian Grand Prix

Hey Bigdon,

I noticed that you expanded the 2012 Canadian Grand Prix article out from a redirect to the basic template and article lead. As the race isn't scheduled to take place for another month, this is probably a little bit too soon to be making the articles. We've generally only been creating articles for upcoming races once the previous race has been run, unless there is information about it available (like the Monaco circuit changes). Normally we wouldn't have made the article until after Monaco, but I found some stuff about the student protesters in Quebec threatening to shut down the race, so there's no need to revert it back.
