Laryngology (from Greek λαρυγγ-, laryng- (root of λάρυγξ) "larynx/throat") is that branch of medicine which deals with voice disorders and with illnesses and injuries of the larynx.

Common conditions and pathologies addressed by laryngologists include vocal cord polyps, cysts, nodules, laryngeal cancer, spasmodic dysphonia, laryngopharyngeal reflux, papillomas, and voice misuse/abuse/overuse syndromes.
