Rana is a Family name of Rajput clan and Rana is also a surname used by the Gurjar, Jats and Rajputs of India, Pakistan and Nepal. Most of the Rana's are residing in Northern states like Rajesthan, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Jats in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh also use Rana as their SurnameIndia.
