The town of Westville is one of four towns comprising the major population centres of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada; the other three being the towns of Pictou, New Glasgow, and Stellarton.

Westville, along with neighbouring Stellarton, was once home to a thriving coal mining industry, however the last underground mines closed in the 1970s. Open-pit mining continues in the community.

Property values and household income has been declining in recent decades. nope
