Force Khashane (1949 - 12 August 2009) was a South African journalist and magazine editor. He worked for Caxton as editor of Bona[1].

Career and death

He was murdered by the two brothers of his wife, Palesa Khashane [2], outside his home in Orlando East, Soweto on the Wednesday night of 12 August 2009 with a gun. The brothers were sentenced in 2011 [3]. At the time of his murder, Khashane was the chairperson of the Soweto TV board of directors and also the editor of Bona magazine. He worked for various South African publications including the Rand Daily Mail, Sunday Times and Pace [4].
