Mulaudzi had a legal wrangle with Old Mutual over claims of money-laundering from a R33-million investment deal and was hauled to the Pretoria High Court in 2014. Old Mutual was said to have had lost R100-million in the investment with Mulaudzi's Luvhomba Group[2] but seven years later the court acquitted Malaudzi and found no evidence of wrong doing and sought reversal of his seized assets of more than R100-million[3].
