Intro by botteville

I just cleared the deck for action, to use a naval term from the days of sail (wonderful days). Now I can more easily see your comments, if you have any. and you can more easily find my replies, if any. Chances are, I won't be replying. Nothing personal, and nothing to do with the merits or demerits of your argument. We just don't have the space to conduct arguments. You're taking responsibiity for your inputs and we're exercising the "presumption of good faith." Whether it is or is not is your burden. I don't keep your old talk around for long so you probably won't be seeing much here. Regard it as an erasable blackboard.Botteville (talk) 21:58, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Right at the moment I'm taking a vacation. Don't send me a message as I may not see it for a while. If I do see it I might not answer. If I do not appear for a long time you might assume I am not going to and have not had a chance to cancel myself out. Anything can happen, you know. Maybe I don't have any equipment at the moment, or I lost my records, or I just don't have an opportunity to work on it anymore. Thank you for your concern. Administration, if you really think you need to talk to me, you can still email me.Botteville (talk)

Pan Lat studies

Since you're seemingly interested in Pan Lat studies, I want to note there was a recent BMCR review of a commentary on Pan Lat 2. https://bmcr.brynmawr.edu/2024/2024.11.32/. Ifly6 (talk) 16:19, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much. This ought to be referenced in at least the Genobaud article. I am leaving this here for the nonce. I assure you that I am on these Franks articles and have no intention of quitting them unless driven off Wikipedia. I do move from one to the other as seems best. I think you get a bigger and more improved view that way. We old folk, we need time.~~~ Botteville (talk) 16:29, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
