Madi Phala

Madi Phala born July 1955 in, Kwa-Thema, Springs, South Africa was a South African artist. He died tragically 2 March 2007. His most recent works were predominately painting, and collage and dealt with the theme of the African herd boy.

Phala's work is represented in several private and corporate art collections namely the French Embassy; De Beers, London as well as Minister Pallo Jordan and art historian Barbara Lindop[www.at.artslink.co.za/~basa/pdfs/BASA_20.pdf].
