The article goes into intense detail on this supposed scourge among gay men, but no one has bothered to add a single reliable source to describe its actual prevalence in the ten years since the last users remarked about it—perhaps because there are few reliable sources on the prevalence at all. Per [[WP:Lead]], it shouldn't be in the lead without being covered lower first. Also, it's best to stick to [[WP:MEDRS]]-compliant sources.
