Born in [[St. Joseph, Missouri]], Lorsch attendedgrew up in [[Kansas City, Missouri]], where he graduated from the [[The Pembroke Hill School|Pembroke Country-Day School]] in the class of 1950,. andHe received his [[Doctor of Business Administration]] from the Harvard Business School. Together with Paul R.
