I agree, this article does not really address herd behaviour. A herd is a collection of grazing animals - nothing to do with humans. The chief behaviour of a herd is clustering for protection (not mentioned in this article). This characteristic (herd behaviour) can be seen in certain situations with humans, flocks, etc. and can be used as a metaphor, for that element of behaviour - the term does not "pertain to the behavior of animals in flocks, and schools, and to humans" <span style="font-size: smaller;" class="autosigned">—Preceding [[Wikipedia:Signatures|unsigned]] comment added by
