[[Road 77 (Iran)|Haraz Road]] (Road 77) is the most important road from Tehran to northern Iran (province of )[[Mazandaran]]) besides [[Road 59 (Iran)|Karaj-Chaloos]]. This road passes from the valley of Haraz river and therefore is also known as Haraz Road between Amol and Rudehen. Haraz road is the nearest road to Mount Damavand, the highest peak in Iran and Middle East. Lar National Park is accessible via this road. The ancient road is part of the Haraz road near Vana where ancient relics of the Old Road to Amol are visible. The road was replaced by the Veresk Road.
