There were 710 complaint cases for Surrey Police in 2009/10. This is a 206% change on the 2003/04 figure. In June 2024 the force referred itself to the police complaints watchdog following an incident in which a police vehicle was used to ram a calf that was loose in the streets of [[Staines]].
