In May 2015 Scott appeared briefly in episode 4 of [[Peter Kay's Car Share]] on BBC One as an irate builder who John ([[Peter Kay]]) has a dispute with at a children's road crossing.

Scott left acting to become a [[paramedic]] with the [[North West Ambulance Service]], where he still works currently. During this time, he begun an affair with a fellow colleague and his then-student, Madeline Farrow. Upon his wife's discovery of the affair, Scott left the family home and their then 8 year old son.
He is separated from his wife who has primary custody of their child, and it is believed he now resides with Farrow.
