==Biography==
Born into the prestigious Tohno family under the strict supervision of her father, Makihisa, Akiha lived a sheltered childhood, seldom allowed to leave the household for play. One day, however, while she was quietly waiting for her tutor to arrive, a young boy, [[Shiki Tohno|Shiki]], held her hand and helped her experience the joys of childhood. However, due to a near-fatal wound Shiki later suffers, they are separated eight years before the beginning of the story.
Upon the death of her father, Makihisa, Akiha later becomes the head of the Tohno household and calls back Shiki, her brother, who is most precious to her, to the Tohno mansion, and they reunite.
