This approval formalises Novo Holdings’ commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emission in alignment with the 1.5°C pathway outlined in the Paris Agreement. The Novo Holdings Venture Investments team led a $92 million Series A Financing in Kivu Bioscience, an early-stage biotech company developing next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) programs to deliver therapies that are more effective and safer for cancer patients. Today we announced that Novo Holdings led AvenCell's $112 million Series B financing round to support the continued validation of the company’s proprietary Universal Switchable CAR-T cell therapy platform for the treatment of a wide range of hematologic malignancies. Novo Holdings today announced an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Stingray Marine Solutions AS, a market-leading aquaculture technology company that provides advanced solutions for a more sustainable fish farming industry.   The Company’s product, the Stingray system, utilises a combination of camera vision, advanced proprietary software, and laser technology to remove sea lice from fish in a humane and efficient manner. Sea lice are the key driver of salmon health issues, directly or indirectly costing fish farmers €6–7 billion annually.
