Preparing future engineers and developers!👩💻👨💻 #3Shape hosted “National Science Day” at our Copenhagen office. The event was arranged by Denmark’s Naturvidenskaberne Hus. As part of the initiative, 4,000 students of all ages visited 80+ companies, organizations and educational institutions across Denmark. The goal was to drive interest in careers in technology and natural science. 3Shape was honored to be a part of the program. The participating students got the opportunity to work on company cases, meet professionals, and get an inside look at working in tech. "I have personally been lucky to have good role models in my life. I come from a long line of strong women who all work in science. STEM has been discussed over the kitchen table ever since I was little. But I often think: if I hadn't had good role models, would I have dared to take the leap into STEM? It is our hope that by being role models, we inspire the next generations to choose careers in tech. Tech is for everyone” says 3Shape Product Manager, Malene Leonora Nielsen. Alarmingly, 38% of dentists report being frequently or always worried, and 87-90% experience musculoskeletal pain. On this day and every day, we encourage all dental professionals to take a moment for self-care. Prioritize your well-being—eat, hydrate, and rest adequately. Consider taking a deep breath before stepping into the operatory. At 3Shape, we are equally committed to supporting the mental health of our colleagues. That’s the great thing about people and working in a company that embraces neurodiversity. 🧠 Diverse ways of thinking affect interactions and communication and foster creativity and innovation. But sometimes, we need to remind ourselves to be open and recognize that every team is neurodiverse. To delve into this important topic, we invited Kasper Jelsbech from LIVING INSTITUTE, to share his research on how embracing underlying differences in thinking styles can become a competitive superpower. “By embracing neurodiversity, companies are better prepared to crack the code to an inclusive workplace where all of us can leverage the diversity of how we think and solve problems, ultimately, benefitting both team performance and individual engagement at work, “Kasper Jelsbech VP and Head of P&C, Pernille Riis Johansen, reflected on the workshop: “By creating an open platform like this for all employees, #3Shape makes the important statement that neurodiversity matters.
