The Atlassian Marketplace lets you sell and share apps that enhance the functionality of Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
Marketplace apps help customers tailor their Atlassian products to suit their teams' needs. Whether it's providing diagramming solutions in Confluence or streamlining workflows in Jira, the potential for innovation is boundless.
Marketplace first launched in 2012. Less than a decade later, it surpassed $2 billion in lifetime sales.
Utilize our development platforms to craft apps tailored to your team's specific needs or to commercialize your creations by listing them on the Marketplace.

As of Feb 15, 2024, the Atlassian Marketplace no longer offers sales and support for server apps.
If you're considering cloud or have migrating customers, see Moving your app and customers to cloud.
We help you take your apps to customers in the best way possible. Some of the key benefits of Marketplace are:
Ease of access: Atlassian has more than 260,000 customers. When looking for apps, Atlassian directs all of these users to the Marketplace.
Ease of trial & purchase: Customers can use the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) to access the Marketplace directly from their product instance to install or buy apps.
Support: You can use our Marketplace licensing solution to let users to pay for your app via Atlassian. This simplifies the process for all parties. At my.atlassian.com, both partners and customers can manage their licenses. It allows these users to view and manage billing accounts, products, orders, quotes, payments, and more.
Profit for all: Revenue is split between you and Atlassian. Your robust apps enhance our products, and our flexible products and Marketplace boost your app sales.
A partner can sell and share their apps on the Marketplace. These partners offer an array of solutions that extend the functionality of our core products, including project management tools, reporting enhancements, integration plugins, themes, and templates.
Partners can be categorized as follows:
Marketplace Partners: Commercial developers who earn revenue from published apps. For more about these partners, check out the Marketplace Partner Program.
Solution Partners: Channel allies who provide consulting, sales, and technical services to customers, including development of custom apps.
Developers: In-house developers, often within medium to large organizations, who create custom apps and integrations for internal use. They can choose to freely launch these on the Marketplace or opt for private distribution.
