In 1874 the Siemens brothers went on a groundbreaking quest with their pioneer ship. Named after a friend and one of the most important experimental physicists of all time: Michael Faraday. The ship’s purpose was to lay the fourth transatlantic cable from east to west: to connect the Old and the New World. Thanks to its maneuverability 🚣🏽 the Faraday was perfectly equipped for the task. Stay tuned for next week’s edition of #SiemensHistory, when we’ll take a closer look at the cable laying.

#NetZero by 2050? We help DHL reach its #sustainability goals and electrify 60% of its global last-mile fleet by 2030. In Singapore alone, they added 80 EVs to their local fleet and needed smart and efficient charging to manage the energy load: In just 4 weeks, we supplied 108 VersiCharge Gen 3 chargers across two DHL depots. The smart chargers use OCPP to dynamically control the electrical load, enabling efficient overnight charging of their 80 Citroen e-dispatch vans. 🚀 #TechnologyWithPurpose
