Just in time for Halloween, a new survey has been released, and the DMV region is home to some of the country's "spookiest streets." A survey of 3,000 drivers conducted by Volkswagen determined which area roadways are ready for the holidays, headlined by Route 9 in Sleepy Hollow, a New York destination. Officers were flagged down early on Thursday morning in Prince George's County when passersby found a 38-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds on the side of a busy roadway, police say. Jeiver Pozuelos Cervantes has been identified by investigators as the victim who was killed in what is believed to have been a targeted attack, not a random crime in Riverdale. Denny's To Close 150 Restaurants
Restaurant chain Denny's plans to shut down as many as 150 of its locations. The company said half of the underperforming outlets will close by the end of the calendar year and the others will go out of business in 2025.
