Deutsch: Tonna galea, Tonnidae, Große Tonnenschnecke, Länge 14 cm. Verbreitung: Tropischer Indopazifik, Westatlantik und Mittelmeer. Gehäuse aus eigener Sammlung, daher nicht georeferenziert.
English: Tonna galea, Tonnidae, Giant Tun, length 14 cm. Distribution: Tropical Indo-Pacific, Western Atlantic, and the Mediterranean. Shell of own collection, therefore not geocoded.
From left to right: Dorsal, lateral (right side), ventral, back, and front view..

Français : Coquille de Dolium géant (Tonna galea, famille des Tonnidae). Longueur 14 cm. Distribution: zone indo-pacifique tropicale, Atlantique de l'ouest et méditérannée. De gauche à droite : vues dorsale, latérale (droite), ventrale, arrière et avant. Image réalisée en assemblant cinq photos d'une même coquille.
