English: Stamp of the British colony of Hong Kong, of the Victory issue, issued 1946 in a series of 2 with a blue and red 30 cents. The message on left means : "China and Britain perpetually at peace", and the one on right : "The Phoenix revives in prosperity" (by Miss E. K. Baker of the Colonial Office, in a letter to Sir Alan Lascelles, Private Secretary to King George VI, quoted in Nicholas Courtney, The Queen's Stamps, 2003, ISBN 0413772284, page 263.
