Description
English: In 1950 the Brooks-Scanlon Lumber Co. purchased and then closed down its main competitor, the Shevlin-Hixon Lumber Co.

on the west and opposite bank of the Deschutes River in Bend. In 1951 the Shevlin-Hixon property was leased to
