Permission (Reusing this file) |
This 1949 issue of Radio-Electronics would have to its copyright renewed in 1976. Online page scans of the Catalog of Copyright Entries, published by the US Copyright Office can be found here. http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/cce/ The search of the Renewals for Periodicals for 1975, 1976 and 1977 show no renewal entries for Radio-Electronics. Gernsback Publications owned Radio-Electronics in 1949 and in 1976. The copyrights for Radio-Electronics are held by Poptronix Inc. The copyright holder indicated that Gernsback Publications did not renew the copyrights of pre 1964 issues. A search of the copyright records confirms this. The copyright on the magazine was not renewed and it is in the public domain. |
