Summary
[edit]DescriptionPottery Fire Bomb from Iran.jpg |
English: This pottery fire bomb from the National museum of Iran in Tehran is seen here at an exhibition of ancient artifacts from Iran in Drents Museum, Netherlands. The device is dated 1200 - 1300 CE and said to have been loaded with 'Greek fire' and hurled at the enemy with a catapult. The fact it survived means it was either a dud or the war was over. |
