Description
Deutsch: Meteorit von Treysa (Hauptstück) im Mineralogischen Museum in Marburg, der am 3. April 1916 um 15:30 in der Gemarkung Rommershausen bei Treysa in Nordhessen in einem Wald niedergegangen ist. Eisenmeteorit aus Eisen-Nickel (Mittlerer Oktaedrit, Gruppe III B-ANOM) mit Widmanstätten-Strukturen, Fundgewicht 63,3 kg, Eindringtiefe 1,6 m, Einschlagsloch ca. 1,5 x 1 m.
English: The Treysa meteorite (mainpart) at the Mineralogisches Museum in Marburg fallen on April 3, 1916 into a forest near Rommershausen near Treysa in Hesse, Germany. Iron meteorite of iron-nickel (Mean Oktaedrit, group III B-ANOM) with Widmanstätten pattern, Weight after finding 63.3 kg, depth of impression: 1.6 m, crater ca. 1.5 x 1 m.
