Description
Deutsch: Eine Microtiterplatte ist mit Antikörper gegen Human IgM (blau) beschichtet. Dazu gibt man die Probe (Blutserum). Alle vorhandenen IgMs (rot) werden gebunden. Die Platte wird vorsichtig gewaschen. Das Antigen gegen welches Antikörper nachgewiesen werden sollen, wird zugegeben. Waren IgMs gegen das gesuchte Antigen vorhanden, wird dieses auf der gesamten Oberfläche agglutiniert; es bildet sich von oben gesehen ein Rasen (obere Zeile). Waren keine Antikörper vorhanden, so sinkt das zugegebene Antigen ab. Es bildet sich ein Punkt in der tiefsten Stelle der Microtiterplatte. (untere Zeile).
