Description
English: Friar Street, Reading, looking eastwards towards the Market Place, c. 1900. On the north side are Nos. 6 and 5 (Wheatsheaf Hotel) and Nos. 4 and 3 (W. and R. Fleming, coachbuilders). At the end of the street, the Town Hall, and the west end of St. Laurence's Church. 1900-1909 glass negative by H. W. Taunt, Box 22 No. 11169.
