Description Schwarze und Indigene Frauen sind besonders häufig von Armut und extremer Armut betroffen. Die Indikatoren in dieser Infographik stammen aus verschiedenen nationalen Statistiken. Es kann nicht mehr nachvollzogen werden, ob es sich bei den Unterkategorien „Indigene“, „Schwarze“ oder „weder Schwarze noch Indigene“ um Selbst- oder Fremdzuschreibungen handelt. Statistische Daten zu Hautfarbe oder ethnischer Gruppe sind generell höchst umstritten und bedürfen eines ständigen Diskurses. Um soziale Ungleichheiten und intersektionale Diskriminierungen aufzudecken und zu bekämpfen, kann die Erhebung dieser Daten sehr hilfreich sein. Mit Intersektionaliät ist die Überschneidung und Überlagerung unterschiedlicher Diskriminierungsformen gemeint, mit der eine einzige Person konfrontiert sein kann. Siehe dazu z.B.
